ANALYSIS VIEW
You will notice a new logo on each of your lists in EP. This will change your page to Analysis View. This adds features similar to those of a spreadsheet to the list. You can move back and forward between your normal view and analysis view and can save different views just like filters.
Within Analysis view you can drag and drop columns to a specific order that will only apply to this view which is helpful if you need multiple layouts of the same table.
SUMMARY BAR
At the bottom of the list is a summary bar, this will be really helpful to allow you to know the number of rows without you having to export the data to excel. At the bottom of the rows of data you will also get a total for financial columns.
You can also highlight a selection of the rows and get an overview of the data within the column but just those fields, Sum, Count, Average.
In this view you can still use your normal filter panel but you also have a side panel where you can select or deselect columns and add filters to each column.
Depending on your Job Role you may currently export data in and out of excel to compile reports. This may no longer be necessary; you may be able to use the options available in Pivot Mode.
You can rename the tab and keep the view available if it is a report you use regularly or you can delete it when it is no longer required. You can save and work from multiple tabs.
